Before making a balance transfer, you should consider your borrowing options to make sure that a balance transfer is right for you and your circumstances.

Balance transfer offers may be included when you open your credit card. This is known as your introductory period. Once you’re outside of your introductory balance transfer period, our balance transfer offers are personalised. We’ll communicate to you through email or messages in Mobile or Online banking. If you’re unsure if you’ve got an offer, you can call us or contact us through chat as detailed below.

How to make a balance transfer with us

Using Online Banking

You’ll need to have your phone with the mobile number that’s registered to us to hand. We’ll either send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) or ask you to authorise the transaction using the Mobile Banking app.

Click the 'Credit Cards' tab.

Choose 'Balance transfer' on the left-hand side.

Use the drop-down menu to pick the credit card you're transferring to.

Enter the required details and click 'Continue’.

By phone

Call us to transfer balances from credit and store cards in your name or in the name of your additional cardholder(s.)

By chat

Our virtual assistant can show you how to transfer a balance and even tell you if you have an offer on your account. Just log on to Online Banking and click ‘Chat with us’ to get started
